Upon retiring from the Georgia Organic Growers, I received personal thanks from Lisa Ray who was then Commissioner of Agriculture Tommy Irvin's press secretary . They especially appreciated that whatever strong stance I took on behalf of the Organic Movement was always delivered with respect and kindness. Lisa paid me the highest compliment when she said that they trusted me to be the same behind their backs as I was to their faces (an ethic I gather is a rare commodity in the political arena.) People can tell that I geuinely like and respect them. I think that's one reason I always get such great interviews from people!
