Bought a $600 freelance software bundle and half the licenses were expired

Last month I dropped $600 on a bundle of design tools and project management apps from a deal site. Turned out 3 of the 5 licenses had expiration dates from last year. Contacted support and they said 'coupon bundles are final sale no refunds.' Now I'm stuck with half-working software and a bad taste in my mouth. Has anyone else gotten burned by these bundle deals from online marketplaces?

Tbh the fine print is the buyer's job to read before clicking buy.

A buddy of mine got a similar deal last year... ended up with a photo editing suite that had a watermark on everything. Customer service basically told him tough luck too.

My cousin actually tried one of those "lifetime" deals from a site called PixelPro last spring. 90 bucks for a full design bundle and it was all watermarked previews, not the actual files. Customer service ghosted him for two weeks then said the deal was for "trial use only" in fine print. I used to think those flash sales were just good timing, but seeing that happen to someone I know made me realize they're usually a total scam.
