Choosing between a flat rate and hourly for my first web project in Albuquerque
I picked the flat rate for a small business site last month and ended up eating 6 extra hours of revisions, has anyone else found that hourly is safer for client changes?

Learned this the hard way too. I quoted flat for what I thought was a simple brochure site and then the client decided they wanted a whole new color scheme and a blog section at the very end. Ended up working for free basically, which is fun when you're already broke. Hourly just feels way safer for those surprise changes, even if it makes the quote look scarier upfront. Plus you can tell yourself every revision is just more gym money, lol.
