Graphic design gig went sideways at Old Town coffee shop

I was editing a logo mockup at Flying Star on Central when my laptop froze with the file unsaved. Had to redo the whole thing from scratch in 45 minutes using just the client's rough sketch on my phone. Anyone else had a near miss like that and had to rebuild under the gun?

Oh man that's brutal lol. Nothing like having your computer nope out right when you need it most. At least the phone sketch gave you something to work with, could've been worse.

The phone sketch saved you this time, but next time maybe a quick save before you step away for coffee or a bathroom break could be the difference between starting over or picking right back up.

Had a similar meltdown at a coffee shop last year when Illustrator crashed mid edit and lost two hours of work... still haunts me.
