Took me 11 days to figure out my image classifier was trained on flipped photos
I kept getting 92% accuracy on test data but garbage results on real pics, and after 11 days of debugging I found out my training set was accidentally mirrored, so a quick augmentation fix got me to 97% on live images, has anyone else had a dumb data prep bug waste a week of their life?
