Took me 3 weeks to figure out my flotation screen was catching all the good stuff
Kept finding tiny bone fragments in the reject pile at a site near Tucson and blaming my trowel technique. Turns out my mesh was 1/4 inch instead of 1/8, so I lost 3 weeks of microfauna data to a hardware store mix up. Anyone else ever blame themselves for what was actually just the wrong gear?
