That night my neighbor's drone photobombed my star tracker shots

I was out in my backyard around 11pm last Tuesday trying to get a clean shot of the Andromeda galaxy with my new star tracker. Everything was going fine, I had my exposures lined up and the sky was pretty clear. Then I hear this buzzing noise getting louder and louder, and suddenly there's this bright blinking light drifting right through my frame. My neighbor Rob was testing his new drone and he had no idea I was out there. He flew it right over my setup for like ten minutes while I just sat there watching my shots get ruined. I didn't even realize until I got inside that every single frame had a light trail or a weird shadow from it. I've since started checking with my neighbors before I plan a long imaging session, and I also put up a little sign by the fence. Has anyone else had something random like a plane or a bird mess up their whole night of astrophotography?
