Hot take: I counted 47 unread texts in the ATL chat and it made me change how I use group chats
I used to think lurker life was fine until I opened the ATL Local Chat thread from the Decatur meetup last Saturday and saw 47 unread messages stacked up. Scrolled through all of them and realized I missed a whole plan about the food truck thing at Cascade and a ride share offer from someone in Marietta. Now I check the chat twice a day instead of once a week. Anyone else find that ignoring a group chat for a few days makes you miss stuff you actually wanted in on?

Checking a group chat twice a day sounds exhausting and people can just text you directly if it matters.
