My old East Atlanta commute got 12 minutes faster with one lane change
For years I took Moreland down to I-20 every morning and sat in that backup near Glenwood like clockwork. Last month I started using the left lane to skip the merge point by the gas station, then swinging right after the ramp. It felt sketchy at first, but now I save about 12 minutes on a 25 minute drive. Anyone else found a weird local shortcut that just works?

Yeah, but you're basically gaming the merge and making everyone behind you eat the slack. Thats not a shortcut, thats just jumping the line and hoping nobody gets pissed enough to block you out one morning.
