Perfectly grilled steak at a tiny spot near Decatur, then nothing else measured up
Went to this hole in the wall on Memorial Drive last Saturday and ordered their ribeye, it came out with this char that tasted like campfire and butter at the same time. I have eaten steak around Atlanta for years, but that one bite made me question every fancy place I've ever spent over $60. Has anyone else found a random spot that ruined all your usual favorites?

Found a taco truck off Buford Highway that did the same thing to me. Their al pastor was so good I stopped bothering with the sit down Mexican places I used to hit. Now I just go there and save the fancy spots for when someone else is paying.
