Drove to a Tuesday morning meetup in Alpharetta and the coffee line taught me more than the speaker
Went to my first in person Atlanta networking event last Tuesday at a coworking spot off Windward Parkway in Alpharetta. I showed up 20 minutes early thinking I'd beat the crowd, but the coffee line was already 15 people deep. Stood next to a guy named Marcus who runs a small IT shop in Roswell, and we just talked about the Braves while we waited. The actual speaker talked for 40 minutes about cold email, but honestly I got two follow up meetings out of that coffee line conversation. Made me think the real networking happens before anyone picks up a mic. Does anyone know of other morning meetups around Alpharetta or Roswell that are more about talking than listening?

Sounds right, but that was actually Thursday you went, not Tuesday.
