Brake fluid flush on a 2012 F-150 turned into a 4-hour ordeal

Last Thursday I was doing a routine flush on a customer's F-150, and the bleeder valve on the rear passenger side just snapped clean off. Ended up drilling out the remains and retapping the caliper with a M10x1.0 thread chaser, which took forever. Anyone else keep spare bleeders in stock, or do you just hope the rust isn't that bad?

Four hours for one bleeder valve? I would have lost my mind by hour two. Snapped one clean off a Chevy Silverado last spring and I swear that little piece of metal made me cuss louder than any engine job ever did. You got lucky the threads held up enough to chase, most of the time that caliper is toast and you're looking at a whole new part.
