I spent 3 years guessing at parasitic draws, then a retired tech in Tulsa showed me the fuse chart trick
Back in 2021 I was chasing a 380 milliamp draw on a 2012 Silverado and pulled half the interior out over two evenings. A retired guy named Ray at a parts counter in Tulsa asked why I wasn't using the voltage drop across the fuses instead of yanking them one by one. He walked me through reading millivolts on each fuse with a meter, then converting it with a little table, and I found the bad module in about 15 minutes. Last week I ran the same test on a Tahoe with a draw and nailed it on the third fuse I checked. I used to think pulling fuses was just how you did it, but this keeps the modules awake and you never disturb the connectors. Now I keep a laminated card in my box with the conversion numbers on it. Has anyone tried this on the newer stuff with those tiny low-profile fuses, because the numbers get real small on my meter?
