The jump to electric cars has me feeling left behind sometimes
Back in the day, a wrench and some know-how got you through most repairs. Now with EVs, you need special tools and certifications just to touch the battery pack. I had a hybrid come in last month, and finding the right diagnostic port took me half an hour. It's a whole new game, and not always a fun one.

Yeah I used to think the special tools were just a money grab too lol. What helped me was biting the bullet and getting a good high-voltage multimeter. I practiced on a junked battery pack from a friend's shop, which made the whole thing less scary.
