That rainy Tuesday where I took walk-ins all day and made more than my regulars

Last Tuesday we had a storm hit around noon and every appointment canceled. I decided to keep the chair open for walk-ins instead of closing early. by 7pm I'd done 14 cuts, mostly buzzes and fades from guys who just wanted to get out of the rain. Made $680 that day, which beat my usual Tuesday with booked clients by almost $200. It made me wonder if I should reserve a couple slots each week for drop-ins instead of going full appointment only. Has anyone else tried a walk-in heavy day and seen better numbers?
