My barber told me to charge a deposit and I told him he was nuts
He said he started taking $25 up front on cuts over 40 bucks after getting burned by no-shows, and I argued that deposits just scare off good people. Then I lost two full days in March to people who booked and ghosted, about $600 gone. How do you bring up a deposit without sounding like you don't trust the person?
