Update: A client in Dallas asked me why my rate went up 15% and I almost gave in
She said her budget hadn't changed since we started working together 8 months ago, so I showed her the three extra deliverables I'd been eating for free every month. She went quiet for a second and then said "fair enough, send the new contract." Anyone else had a client push back and end up agreeing once they saw the actual scope creep?
