Freelance 4 years vs. full time job offer, do I take the steady paycheck or keep the freedom?
Last month a company in Austin offered me a full time job with benefits and I still have not given them an answer. Part of me wants the steady check and health insurance since my last 3 months of freelance work were painfully slow. But the other part remembers why I left my old office job in 2021, no more 9am meetings or asking permission to take a walk. So which one actually keeps you from burning out, the safe route or the one you built yourself?
