A bookkeeper in Spokane told me my invoices looked like ransom notes and she was right
She looked at one of my $1,200 invoices and told me the due date was buried in a paragraph, so clients kept "forgetting" it. Now the due date sits at the top in bold and late fees are spelled out in plain words, and my average wait dropped from 40 days to 12. Has anyone else had someone point out how messy their invoices were?
