I put a simple "late fee of 1.5% per month after 14 days" note at the bottom of every bill starting in March, and the average payment time for my 8 regular jobs went from 20 days down to 6. The first guy who saw it just laughed and paid same day. Has anyone else tried a late fee and had it backfire?
