Warning: I picked net 15 over net 30 and it went way better than I feared
Two regulars were slow on invoices, and I had to pick between making the payment term shorter or just hitting them with a late fee. I went with net 15 on the next round for one of them (a $650 job) and braced for a fight. She paid in 9 days without a word, and now she's asked for net 15 on everything. The other one I left alone and he's still sitting on 3 invoices from June. Has anyone split their payment terms like this per person, or does it blow up on you eventually?
