Guy at the game night in Dayton said my rulebook teach was killing the fun
He pulled me aside after a 5-player game of Brass and said I spent 20 minutes on setup details before anyone touched a card. At first I was annoyed, but he had a point. Next game night I cut my teach down to 3 minutes and just started playing, fixing rules as they came up. Turns out nobody needed the full cost table upfront. How long do you all spend explaining rules before the first turn?
