Serious question, is the 4G rigging card worth the hassle?
Chatted with a guy in Baton Rouge who swore the old 2G cert got him more work than guys with 4G, said shops just want someone who can pass a weld test. I mean, I've been stuck on the fence about dropping the $300 and a weekend for it, anyone else figure out which way the wind blows on this?

Wait, he got work off a 2G cert in this day and age? That's wild, I figured those old cards were basically paperweights by now.
