PSA: Our club went from 3 hour fights to 45 minute talks in about 2 months
Our book club in Denver used to run 3 hours every meeting, and half of it was people talking over each other about plot holes. Back in January the host started handing out a one page sheet with 4 questions and a hard stop at 45 minutes. The change was small but the room went from chaos to actual back and forth within about 6 weeks. Last week we finished early and everyone stayed to chat, which never happened. Has anyone else tried a time limit and question sheet, and did it stick or did people start skipping meetings?
