Put my text block in the freezer by mistake and the pages stopped warping, has this worked for anyone else?

Man, I have totally been there with the warping thing and it drives me up the wall. My paperback copy of Dune got left on the dashboard one summer and the whole thing curled up like a taco, so I get the pain. Never thought to try the freezer trick though, that is wild that it actually flattened yours back out. Bet the pages felt a little stiff at first until they warmed back up. Gonna have to remember this one next time a book of mine gets wrecked.
