My spice rack was eating my paycheck, so I stopped buying new jars

I realized I was spending $6 to $8 on a single spice jar every time a recipe called for something I didn't have. The last straw was a $7 jar of smoked paprika I used once and forgot about for 6 months. Now I just buy bulk spices from the bulk bins at my local co-op, a small bag costs under $1.50. I also started mixing my own taco and curry blends instead of buying pre-made packets. What's your go to cheap way to stock up on seasonings?
