I paid $60 for a fancy dot grid notebook and my Pilot G2 bleeds through every page
So I walked into a fancy paper store in Chicago two months ago and grabbed this dot grid notebook for $60. The clerk said the paper was "ink friendly" and I believed her like a chump. Every single spread I did with my Pilot G2 looks like a crime scene, the ink ghosts right through and even smears on the next page. I wasted like 15 spreads trying to make it work before I gave up and went back to my $8 composition book from the drugstore. Tried gel pens, ballpoints, even a cheap fineliner, and the ghosting was still there. Has anyone else gotten burned by a pricey journal that just cannot handle normal pens? What paper weight do you actually look for so this does not happen again?
