Unpopular opinion: hitting 400 pages in my bujo was a bad sign, not a win
So last week I closed out notebook number four, which puts me at 412 pages filled since I started this whole thing back in January of last year. I know some folks would see that as a flex, like look how much I journaled, but honestly it made me stop and think about what those pages actually hold. I flipped back through them and a big chunk is just migrated tasks that I rewrote month after month, plus half finished collections I never touched again like my 12 week fitness tracker and a meal plan spread I used exactly 3 times. So here is the debate I keep having with myself. One side says volume means the habit stuck, and that even messy pages are proof you showed up. The other side says if I am rewriting the same 6 tasks every month and filling pages with setups I abandon, then I am just busy, not careful, and a slim bujo with 80 pages actually used would beat my 412 every time. My gut says the second one is closer to true for me, but I don't want to throw away the streak feeling either. Where do you all land on this?
