Update: Watched a woman in the Denver airport plan her whole trip on 2 index cards, and I've been overthinking my spreads ever since
She had a grocery list, flight times, and a vet appointment all on one card with no colors, no washi tape, nothing, and it made me wonder if anyone else here has tried going back to the absolute basics after years of fancy layouts?

Two index cards at the Denver airport beats my old system of a color coded binder I lugged around for three trips and never once opened. The thing nobody talks about is that fancy spreads work great at the kitchen table but fall apart the second you're standing in a security line with one hand free. A plain card fits in your pocket, and that matters more than how it looks.
