Bought a $200 dovetail jig and a hand cut set looks better
Bought a $200 dovetail jig last spring because I figured it would save me time on a set of drawers for a client in Boise. Ran it on scrap pine first and the pins came out so sloppy I ended up cutting all 16 dovetails by hand anyway, so the jig just sat in the corner. Did anyone else blow cash on a jig like that, or is it just me who cant get the thing dialed in?
