The Tuesday three checks showed up and I did not know what to do with myself
I had a stretch 6 months ago where nothing cleared for 11 days and I was eating cereal for dinner, then on a random Tuesday in April three checks landed in my mailbox from clients I had mentally written off, totaling $4,850. The wild part is two of them came from guys in Portland who I had only emailed once, no calls, no nagging. I still do not know what made that day different, maybe the polite reminder I sent the Friday before actually worked for once. Does anyone else see weird clusters like that or is it just random luck?

I used to call it pure luck too, until a $2,300 check hit on a random Thursday in March, two days after a client in Tampa finally replied to my fourth follow up. Now I'm convinced timing matters more than I gave it credit for.
