Vent: my old boss in Boise said 'silence is a no' about ghosting clients and I finally get it
She said it 6 months ago over coffee and it made me realize a client who goes quiet after 3 unanswered check-ins isn't busy, they're a no, so now I send one final note saying I'll close the file in 7 days and then I actually do it, and honestly the 2 clients who came back with a quick yes after that note proved her point, has anyone else tried the close-the-file line and had it work, or am I just getting lucky with the ones who reply?
