Client kept paying late until I started adding a 4% late fee, now he pays in 2 days
Had a web design guy who owed me $2,300 and would sit on invoices for 6 weeks every single time. I got tired of chasing him so I added a line at the bottom of my next invoice saying unpaid balances past 14 days get a 4% fee. He called me mad about it, but then paid the whole thing in 48 hours. Funny how fast someone moves when it costs them money instead of just annoying me. Has anyone else tried a late fee, and did any of them actually leave over it?
