Rant: guy asked for a 'ballpark number' over the phone then blew up when the written quote was $4,200 higher
Happened back in March on a re-roof in Mesa, and it taught me to never give a verbal range before I've seen the attic, because he heard "probably eight or nine" and treated it like a contract, so now I just say I don't do numbers over the phone, has anyone else had a customer lock onto a ballpark like that?
