Spent 6 hours on a typo that was one little letter

Finally squashed a bug that kept throwing a weird error every time I ran my Python script. Turns out I wrote 'form' instead of 'from' in an import line, Cost me my whole Tuesday night after work. Anyone else burn major time on something this dumb early on?

and honestly that typo thing never goes away, you just get better at spotting it faster. like the other day i spent an hour trying to figure out why my car radio kept cutting out, turns out the aux cord was just loose. same idea, you assume it's some big complicated problem when really it's the dumbest little thing staring right at you. the brain just loves to skip over the obvious stuff when you're tired or rushed. six hours feels brutal now but honestly it's a rite of passage, everyone's got their own version of that story. what kills me is how those little mistakes always happen at the worst possible time too, like right before bed or when you've got somewhere to be. the trick is to walk away sooner when you're stuck, because staring harder at the same line just makes you blind to it.
