My latte art disaster: poured a heart, got a potato.

At my old coffee shop job, I saw a barista turn a swan into a squid. Your potato heart might be the next big thing in abstract latte art. Who needs perfect symmetry when you have a spud that says I tried? In my experience, the milk texture has to be just right, or you get these happy accidents. It's like the coffee gods decided to give you a rustic, farm to cup design. Embrace the potato, it's probably more unique than another basic heart.

Honestly that reminds me of my friend who totally messed up a tulip pour. It came out looking like a grumpy little onion. She was so annoyed, but the customer took a picture and put it online calling it their 'mood onion' latte. It got way more likes than her perfect designs ever did. Sometimes the coffee just has its own plan, you know? Those weird ones stick with people because they feel real.

Lol my regulars always pick @logan_anderson40's mess-ups first.

Yeah, those messed up latte designs can be way cooler. I saw a guy pour a blob that looked like a tiny bear. Everyone loved it more than the perfect roses. It's like when you build something and a knot in the wood makes it unique. The potato heart has character, man. Better than another boring, same old shape.
