Guy at my shop said he only reads comics he can finish in one sitting, and I can't stop thinking about it
He dropped that line at the counter in Mesa last Thursday while buying a single issue, said he gave up on ongoing runs years ago because he forgets the story between months. I get the appeal, but half the fun for me is the slow burn and the wait, so now I'm wondering if I'm the odd one out. Do you mostly read trades and one-shots, or do you stick with monthly floppies?

Does that guy never rewatch a show or reread a book he likes? The wait between issues is half the fun for me too, and half the talk at the shop is guessing where the story goes next. Trades are great for catching up, but monthlies are what keep me coming back.
