Serious question, how many of you actually log your dive tables by hand?
A retired diver named Chuck told me at the dock in Morgan City that he still writes his bottom times and surface intervals on a paper slate before he ever touches the computer, and he's been at it 31 years. I always figured the computer was enough, but he says he caught a bad gauge reading twice just by doing the math in his head first. Do any of you still do a manual backup, or am I just being old school for thinking about it?
