Vent: a guy in my Tuesday night class called us parts swappers and it's still bugging me
I was at a free repair meetup in Akron last week and some guy kept saying techs like us just swap boards until something works, then called it parts swapping. I get why he thinks that, because half the laptops on the table were dead no-post and we did swap ram to test, but nobody there could read a schematic either. Anyone here actually teach new guys board level stuff, or do we all just hope they pick it up on their own?
