PSA: I leveled with a 4 foot level for 12 years, here's what changed my mind

Ran a job in Modesto last month, pour was bouncing between 3/8 and 1/2 inch over 20 feet. I kept screeding and rechecking with my 4 footer, couldnt figure out why the high spots kept showing up when I ran the straightedge. Guy from the crew next door handed me his 10 foot level and said 'check this.' That single tool showed the bow I was missing the whole time. How long did it take you guys to ditch the short level for something longer, or do you still trust the 4 footer on big pads?
