Residential pour in Austin taught me to check the rebar before the truck shows up

We did a slab for a garage addition off Airport Blvd last week and the rebar guy set everything for the wrong grid, so the crew spent 40 minutes cutting and retying wire while the mixer sat. The concrete was already on its way, so we took the hit in labor but the pour went fine. Anyone else had a supplier screw up placement details and eat the hours?

Forty minutes of retying while the truck idles? That's a nightmare scenario right there. I'd have been screaming at my phone trying to call the supplier before the slump even settled.
