Replaced my 3 page freelance agreement with a 1 paragraph letter of intent and somehow got better protection
Ngl I used to send this long contract with kill fee, revision limits, and a whole section on late payments, and people pushed back on it every single time. Now I just email a short note that says 50% up front, 2 rounds of edits, and any extra work gets billed at $75 an hour, and it takes 2 minutes to sign. Has anyone else found that a simple one pager actually holds up better than the long one?
