Signed a 6 month gym deal in February, moved in April, and learned what a liquidated damages clause actually does
Cancelled the membership and they still wanted $312 for the rest of the term plus a $50 fee I never saw in the fine print. Turns out the early termination clause just let them keep charging me even after I moved two hours away. How do you all spot that kind of clause before signing, it was buried on page 3 for me.
