I was dead set against using any kind of project management app for my small jobs, but after I double-booked myself on a bathroom remodel in Spokane last spring, I caved and tried Trello for 3 months and now I can't believe I ran my business without it.
That double-booking cost me a $2,000 deposit refund and a week of chasing down a new client, so I figured a free app was worth a shot, and now I set up boards for each project with color-coded lists and it keeps me from mixing up my Tuesday drywall patch with my Friday cabinet install, has anyone else found a specific tool that actually changed how they schedule work?

Did @sam_cooper get you to foot the bill for that Airtable subscription too?

Trello saved my butt too. Simple boards and color codes are all I need to keep from losing deposits. Airtable sounds like overkill for a solo guy doing small jobs.
