The coffee shop on 5th used to be our spot, now it's a laptop farm
Back in 2021 me and 3 other freelancers would meet at a cafe on 5th Street every Tuesday, and we actually talked and traded work. Now I walk in and there are 14 people with headphones on and nobody looks up. I still go because it's close to my place, but I miss when it felt like a group and not a quiet room. Does anyone else have an old spot that turned into this, or did you find a smaller place that still has that vibe?

Wow, 14 people and not one looks up? That's wild, it's like the whole place just turned into a library with a coffee machine.
