Why does nobody talk about leveling rod slips on soft ground
Ran a job last Tuesday in Fresno where the outrigger pad sank about 4 inches into wet fill before I noticed. Took me 3 hours to re-level and reset everything because I trusted the ground from the morning inspection. The soil looked fine but had a hidden soft layer under the top crust. Has anyone else dealt with pads sinking after you already started the lift sequence?
