Am I the only one who tried a 20 character password and got locked out of my own bank?
Last week I finally set up a password manager for my bank account, so I made a 20 character random string like everyone says. I typed it once, saved it, and then my phone auto cleared the clipboard. I tried to log in from my laptop two hours later and got the password wrong three times because I missed one symbol. The bank locked my card and I had to call support for 45 minutes to prove I was me. Now I write the master password on paper in a drawer, which probably defeats the point. Has anyone found a way to use long passwords without locking yourself out every other day?
