Took the shorter deadline, skipped the polish pass, actually worked out
Had a newsletter layout due Friday, client moved it to Tuesday morning at 10 PM Sunday night. My two options were emailing back asking for more time or cutting the custom illustration I planned. Picked cutting the art and running with a template I already had. Turned it in Monday afternoon, client said it looked clean. I know that shortcut might bite me later, but this time the extra sleep was worth it. Anyone else ever gamble on the quick version and get lucky?
