Dropped $340 on a fuel pressure test kit and it sat in my box for 8 months before it saved my butt
Honestly I felt like a dummy buying it. I had a 2013 Freightliner Cascadia in the shop last Tuesday with a crank no start, and I was about to start throwing parts at it like I did on the last one. I grabbed the kit, hooked it up at the secondary filter head, and had 12 psi when it should've been around 60. Turned out the lift pump was bleeding off, so instead of a $900 guess on injectors I was done in under two hours. The customer paid the diag and left happy. Tbh it's paid for itself twice since then. What's the tool in your box that sat forever before it actually earned its keep?
