Caulk gun failure at the worst possible time
I was halfway through sealing the bathtub in my rental unit on Tuesday, using a new tube of silicone I picked up at Home Depot in Fresno. The cheap plastic gun I'd had for five years just snapped its plunger rod, leaving me with a half-applied bead and a mess to clean. I ended up scraping it all off and finishing with a $9 dripless gun from Ace, which honestly worked way better. Has anyone else had a tool die mid-job and had to redo the whole thing?
